You can't cancel a sitcom when the audience is laughing that hard. Why couldn't they keep it on the air? I'm sure it would have caught on.

Loved this show! One of the best ever sitcoms. John Forsythe was one of the greatest (and handsomest!) . . . pure class, pure perfection in everything he did. RIP, friend. Thanks for entertaining us for so many years .

the pantomime sequence is reminicent of when Archie Bunker would pretend to hang himself listening to Edith's longwinded stories.. classic Norman Lear device..
