If this was the new Thinkpad, I totally would not buy it:

1. A Thinkpad must be BLACK!

2. Where the hell is the trackpoint?

3. Thinkpad keyboards are supposed to be tactile. That probably loses it.

4. That brown cover is just as disastrous as the Thinkpad Reserve.

Firstly,Thanks your comment.

Secondly, we notice that change is most important factor in product evolution. To some extent, Black is cool, but it not elegant colour. Obviously, apple product colour evolution is from white to Black(could you tell me why? I think in fact no reason - this is fashion evolution). And we needn't trackpoint in the new product, because of the keyboards are supposed to be tactile - the idea of keyboards design come from LG Mobilephone ~~~

sorry but f*ck the elegance. thinkpad is one of the last available models for an IT men, not for metrosexual managers or women. so please leave it's design as-is and don't touch a trackpoint.

This is a great promotional video for a regular Macbook. Like the posters below, I agree that this lacks any thinkpad spirit.

All thinkpads must be able to work after a drop of five ft. Plastic is not going to cut it. Magnesium alloy is mandatory but grade 9 or above titanium alloy would be welcomed.

I wouldn't even mind a metal colored thinkpad. However it must NOT be shiny. Asymmetrical edges is optional. Parallel port is prefered but also not necessary.

NO PLEASEE!!! oh god please no this is the end of THINKPAD. Honestly, u have discarded the entire history of the thinkpad! This is just a design right???? Please! I hope they arent making this! IT has to be a tactile keyboard! I was hoping for a full smashing straight computer !!! like a 2.8 ghz Core 2 Duo 2 gig ram IBM with the red stripes on the trackpoint buttons and the windows key replaced by the word OS. PLeASE THIS WOULD KILL IT!
