  • What model is your Mora?

  • @jonlocke83 It is the Companion

  • Okay so i admit it's a pretty well rounded and complete survival kit, but in a WW3 situation what the heck are you gunna do when you use up youre one and only spare magazine for the AR and the only spare you have for the 9 milli? cower and die, or go deer hunting with a spear and the swiss army knife? I kid, but for real where you gunna find more ammo if theres no more gun stores? food u can catch one way or another, but i highly doubt you carry stuff to produce more bullets

  • @chupacabras0905 If you honestly think you need a bunch of ammo to fight off hoards of people, then good luck to you. I'd love to see how long you can last by yourself against 3 people or more. Good luck.

The idea of bugging out for me is to go into hiding, not stand and fight. The few people that find me, will offer enough guns and ammo for me to resupply

  • Looked up the Gerber artifact and thinking of getting one. Is it a good tool?

  • @jonlocke83 I like mine.. It keeps me from prying with my knife tip

  • @06sterling im not the guy that made the vid but ive spent thousands on various packs, and i recomend a 'millitary' version camelbak for a bug-out bag. (be prepaired to spend 200-300+$ for just the pack). but it will be tough and still be 'light' + the built in water system saves space/distributes weight well..a bug-out situation should imply it could be 'forever', therefore u want 'good' items that will last the longest but u have to also balance that out with weight/volume etc..

  • And... subscribed.

  • I'm not new to the thought, but I am certainly not prepared for any situation that does not involve myself in my vehicle and food available along the route to wherever I may go. I really appreciate this video and your taking time for it while preparing and running through the motions. I'd like to model my starter BOB on your bag and am curious if you still are happy with this bag in video or if you've switched it up.

Again, thank you and stay safe.

  • i would like to know more about that overcoat thing

  • I totally agree on dropping the "Johnny Tactical" look. I love the military style bags and the do take abuse well but the modern backpacking gear seems more adaptable. Thanks for the video and the inspiration. Cheers.

  • it need sumer handwarmers

  • do you remember where you bought that pan? i cant find it on the gsi website at all. great vid thanks for the upload.

  • Awesome! Thanks Trevor.
