  • @garythesaint44 These are not crap knives, they are quality and well worth getting a couple of them.

  • so which one is good for chopping?

  • @Wildernesskev Well they are all medium size knives, Not big for chopping but battoning. i'd say the 711G.

  • um do you think the 711 is to big for your hand cause thts the one i think ima get if not tht the 911 or #2.

  • I am looking for a knife that is for gutting skinning small game and fish but will also do lite work craving and things like that would the military grade one be a good knife

  • Thanks for the review.

    Very well done!

  • is the 711g mora knife stainless and where did you buy it

  • i'm looking at getting my first mora and am looking at using as a neck knife, would you say that the clipper style knife would work in that roll? or is it too thick or heavy? or is there another style (besides the straight wooden handle one) that you think would work better?

    thanks for posting and assisting

  • Mora's steel is good, it's hardened to 59/60 hrc,it's not soft, the triflex, the high carbon and the sandvik steels are very good,a excelent stainless for the price (the sandvik) it's a small knife and is good for battoning , so you won't need a full tang,i never saw or knew one broken.it's excelent for the price, and one of the most used bushcraft knifes in the world,if you want a bigger knife take the Cs Bushman, and don't judge it for the price , it's better than a lot of overpriced knifes...

  • great review of great knives sir!

  • dude that clipper will out do any of the others trust me

  • spyderco bushcraft ftw

  • @mikefalt That's not correct. The cheaper Mora's use a shorter tang, a pretty bad grip and softer/cheaper steel.
