  • As many people have said .. it doesnt matter who won or who wins with this right left paradigm. The real powers that be are not the goverment.. but its those behind the goverment. We are in a recession because a small group of greedy oligarcs have manipulated our entire system to make their own selves wealthier.. its very important that people read and educate themselves about what is going on in the world and in our country specifically.. i also recommend "Fall of the Republic"..

  • @TheCaliCapitalist Oprah said she would not use her show to support Obama and would "keep her mouth shut", but she went around campaigning and boosting support for Obama. How is that keeping her mouth shut? I guarantee if it wasn't Obama and it's another white president, she wouldn't even give a shit. She would not feel and react the way she did when Obama won. You really think this is NOT racist?

  • Before international fame or AM Chicago, Oprah Gail Winfrey toiled—mostly anonymously—in local news in Baltimore, MD with future California First Lady, Maria Shriver. Unrelated:“Skin Deep” ep. of CBS drama “Without A Trace” aired 4/8/07—the first anniversary of NBA player Julius Melvin Hodge being shot on I-76 in Denver and 18 days before notable sports coupes were I-95 totaled on the day of the 1st Demoncratic presidential debate of campaign ’08, at South Carolina State Univ. in Orangeburg

  • More fake than a 3-dollar bill.

  • @stoicsquirrel all politicians lie..lol.. maybe mr. cain's lies jus comforted you more than the other candidates..im pretty sure oprah like myself was very intrigued to witness a black man in office...but less not forget bush's 8 years of terror..blacks and whites were looking for a change from the republican party which ran the nation in the ground on an economic stand point...and less not forget oprah admired clinton too..he even passed a CHILD ABUSE bill in honor of her...

  • @TheBsheep I didn't support him because he's a democrat. I support Herman Cain. I support him because he gave a "real" answer to the questions asked during the debates. Unlike the other candidates who did nothing more then spew the same old rhetoric. Oprah, however, has never really openly supported another democrat. Obama, to my knowledge, is the only one. He spews the same rhetoric as everyone else so it wasn't his policies. The only difference is his skin color. THAT'S why she supported him.

  • @stoicsquirrel my point was that ive seen plenty white celebrities support certain candidates of political parties...but it isnt a question on are they racist or not. so why do oprah have to be coined as a racist because she's supporting her political party? she has that right by constitution to voice her opinion...because if thats the case you could be label as a racist by saying obama is a" less than adequate" candidate..is it because he's black? dont matter because by law you have that right

  • @TheBsheep Wasn't your point that that Oprah was raving over a less than adequate guy that was running for president based SOLELY on the color of his skin? It couldn't be anything else because he didn't have anything to say that dozens of other candidates said. The leaves only one reason Oprah was so stoked about him winning: He's black. Isn't that the the very definition of racism? To judge someone based on the color of their skin?

  • @stoicsquirrel i know that...john hansen was really the first black president and the first president of the united states (not george washington).....anyways obama is the only BLACK candidate that actually stood a real chance of winning...remember u or i can run for office but do that mean where a legit candidate???...my point proven...

  • @TheCaliCapitalist So, you're saying that the color of his skin IS important. I really don't care about the color of somebody's skin, but if you think that's an important factor then more power to ya. It seems a bit racist to me to care whether or not this minority or that minority is (or can be) the president. I think it's more important to worry about whether or not they can do the job, but I guess some people feel that skin color or place of birth is more important.

  • @stoicsquirrel

Mainly because there has never been a black president and within the life times of many blacks they were considered second class citizens and treated like dirt. His election is a huge step foward. Also shows that to many other minorities they can be president too.

  • @TheBsheep His not the only black man to ever run for president. What the hell are you talking about?
