  • I LOVE IT! i'M A NEW AUCTIONEER AND ANY TIME I CAN LEARN FROM A GOOD AUCTIONEER IT'S A PLUS FOR ME. Any good advise for me starting out?

  • Thanks for the compliment. Sorry I don't have any advise. That was a student film I made back in 1979. Good luck!

  • I did not know Paul Hillman, But I have known men like him. This sale reminds me of the sales we conducted in Arkansas in the

mid 70's, I was a young auctioneer at 11 years old helping my grandfather sell farm sales, equipment and cattle. Thanks for the video, I would like to post it to my site. wow brings back memories, I remember the auction clerks in Arkansas use to get paid a percentage of the gross to keep the records straight. The clerks were also mentioned in the posted flyers.

  • This is a fine documentary of times now gone -- almost 30 years ago. Thanks for uploading it. It's shows a bit slower auctioning style than the Missouri farm auctions i attended in the 1970s, but still quite similar.
