  • man boxers always look like they weigh 180 when they only weigh like 145

  • I think Mosley's a good fighter, so to all you haters, its not like your a professional fighter so what right do you have to hate on him, at least his got to where he is today unlike alot of you haters who just sit on your arse and hate on someone who has done something with thier life

  • @d0ct0rsweet yeah its a real gamble in the amateurs, as you only got youself and i guess your coach. I can imagine top pros having doctors and drips after weigh ins. Other people in my gym also used to go down but usually around 5 or 6 pounds. I guess if i could go back i would diet better but u know how it is boxers are pretty lean it is very hard to lose the weight either u loose a lot of strength or u sweat it out and hopefully rehydrate.

  • @deanlivanos Shit dude I used to just come out fighting at the same weight that weighed in at. This s in the amateurs of course. We fought that very same day so my coach was always against us fighting at lower weight classes and coming back up to our normal weights on fight night. There are a few advantages to this if your opponent is heavier on fight night; your speed is greater, your stamina is not fucked from dehydration, you are not light headed...most likely will outbox him. Gotta b careful

  • @d0ct0rsweet yeah i used to box and agree it is hard, for me it was the worst part. Best weigh in I got down to 159 pounds then after the weigh in got to 174 and that was in the amateurs i looked much bigger and was a lot stronger, won by KO 2nd round. Another time after the weigh in I felt drained and didnt recover. I got KO'd in either the 1st or second hard to remember. Making a good weigh in is half the battle. You are right about de la Hoya he had little power in that fight

  • @deanlivanos maybe. I know Floyd fought Ortiz weighing 152-155 on fight night and Ortiz was 160-165. Muthafuka looked big compared to May. It's crazy and very hard, in many cases the toughest part of the fight other than training; going in fully hydrated and at a comfortable weight. Oscar de la Hoya made a stupid move with Pacman as he weighed in at 147 and came out fighting at 147! A guy who is used to coming out fighting at 160-165 at most coming out at 147...fool move.

  • @d0ct0rsweet maybe 155 for a 147 weigh in

  • @WalterRodriguez93 Boxers weigh-in at a lighter weight before they step into the ring...just like wrestlers. They make weight (more like lose it) by spitting, sweating, shitting , etc. After the weigh-in they have the rest of the day and the next day to gain it all back before the fight so they have to re hydrate. Mosley, as a welterweight, would weigh in at 147 and come put fighting at 160ish. Back in the day they had to weighin and fight on the same day so it was harder to pull off.

  • @AYO3100 i bet you would like to know.

  • Dang! he Must cum QUICK!!

  • damn he's got fast hands!
