Golf is widely considered an elitist sport reserved for the rich. But one woman is on a mission to change that perception by promoting the game among the less privileged in Nairobi. Professional golfer Rose Naliaka is grooming young girls to become like her, and four of them have landed a rare opportunity to attend a ladies tournament in Scotland next week.

  • Sounds like one of the kids here been playing golf for a while longer than the Jomo outfit at Kasarani. It's good the focus is now on marketing kids' talents...adults whose only talent is greed have messed up Kenya big time.

  • We need more Kenyans who can think out of the box. Hongera!
