@jaycz4a There really isn't a mode where you can put it in full vent or full recirc. But I'll tell you this now, that this BOV is a piece of crap with the stock 2 port boost solenoid. It will flutter through partial throttle if you're within the boost range. But after installing my Grimmspeed 3-port, it's completely gone. I can be in whatever boost, hold it with partial throttle, and it'll drive smooth. The Turbosmart does a good job of holding boost, I just had to tinker with it a lot.
@jaycz4a Only thing you adjust is the pressure of the springs to match your boost. First time I adjusted it, I got a good idea. And then you adjust it little by little to match it's spring pressure needed.
If you want the "woosh" then sure, get the Turbosmart bov. But I would go with Synapse BPV, not the BOV. Those thing works really well, but trial and error's all part of the game in tuning.
@TruAzn100 Tial - To adjust the spring rate, you have to replace the spring itself. Unlike the Turbosmart, where all you have to do is turn the knob.
HKS SSQV - Generally, the BOV for the Evo is not supposed to be atmospheric, it has to be a hybrid BOV, or recirculative, another thing I just don't like about the SSQV is that... it's too high pitched and squeeky. Also the choice of BOV for ricers. ;)
@JSlShow true i saw a few other vids and reviews and a lot of ppl say that theres a high squeak sound. u should do a vid of u driving hard with the bov and what it sounds like when shifting.
does this BOV flutter at all at part throttle in 50/50 mode?

@TruAzn100 And I'd rather have a bov that sounds like it's blowing air out, mine sounds like, "Wooosh" an SSQV sounds like, "PEK!" lol
