we have a fishing derby up here in Mackenzie BC every year on Father's day weekend June 18th&19th 2011. Its strictly coarse fish, Northern Pikeminnow, peamouth and suckerfish. So come on up and take part in this 2 day event and maybe even win a prize. Average # of fish caught in a weekend for the whole derby is about 2000

The fishing derby used to kick ass. now i will never go again because there's too many people there now. you can't really fish off the docks because every little kid is doing that and you only get an hour on the boats.
