  • That's totally cool. It's also going to break constantly. Especially in sand. And are soldiers supposed to wear that all the time? If not, guess what's going to happen when they're not using them. "Stick in the bottom of your rucksack, specialist!" How about instead of basically forking over money to contractors for heavy bullshit like this, how about we spend it on training? Or higher salaries? I know those things cost a year's salary for a private...

  • I foresee that causing a lot of physical problems with the soldier resulting from an altered gait and just the overall compensation that the body has to make in order to walk in that. Just like now, where soldiers have back and knee problems from wearing excessive weight, walking in that thing will just create new problems... and for what.. so our soldiers can become pack-mules to carry more useless shit into combat?

  • how heavy is that pack?
