  • I remember like 2 months ago when this video barely had 300 views.

  • @J0hannski

Yeah. . .And now its got much more; along w comments about Tony Hawk & the Beastie Boys. . .I think I preferred the 300 w no comments. I went to a lot of trouble to post good, pure rock n roll. Now I'm thinking of taking down the channel because nobody listens to the right stuff for the right reasons. Maybe I should just give up. . .

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator whats wrong with the beastie boys? please, i want to know.

  • @lolttyl143

Nothing wrong with beastie boys per say, but if you're listening to the dead boys purely because you liked a beastie boys song that sampled them, that's pretty lame. It's disrespectful in the same way that guys who listen to robert johnson only listen to him cuz they worship eric clapton. It diminishes the originality of the artist. So, nothin wrong wit bboys, but the dead boys desrve more of a legecy than a sample on a beastie boys song.

  • Tony hawk american wasteland had another version :o Tony Hawk T,H!

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator Okay. Fair point. It is annoying I must say. I don't know if you are familiar with Modest Mouse, but they wrote a song called "Float On" that Lupe Fiasco sampled and trashed the original and gets the credit for writing the song too. But then there are the bands like The Beastie Boys that do their own thing, and are fucking awesome at it too.

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator

I don't think it matters too much how people discover good music, as long as they do.

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator There is nothing with discovering Dead Boys through the Beasties. Or Gn'R for that matter.

  • ads on this? really? come on youtube. how could you insult the ideals of the content your providing?

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator how can you listen to this song for the wrong reasons? im listening to it now cuz i like this song....?

  • @JohnnyAshetonBator To be really honest with you, it shouldn't matter the reason WHY they listen to DEAD BOYS music (be it via Tony Hawks or anyone else), what should matter is that, regardless of where they heard it from, in the end, they're all sat here listening to a good song.

  • Holy trolling, Batman. Just listen to the fucking song.
