Tron Legacy intro credits with motion graphics

Tron Legacy credit sequence done for a class project. Nearly all of it was done in Cinema 4D and then post in after effects.

@PRIORITY60 i agree, but at the same time computer programs are becoming more complex and graphics more realistic, so i think they were trying to go for the modern new technology look in Tron Legacy.

@PRIORITY60 Agreed. New one is pretty but nice render don't really mesh with the world. Tron just has a magic air about it that is sorely missed in Legacy. Good film, but it really doesn't compare.

You know, Tron Legacy SHOULD have looked more like this. The initial idea was that it's all about a computer program. The original Tron portrayed this really well... that's basically what a simple platform created with a computer would look like. In Tron Legacy, they take it too far... they made it look a little TOO real; too complex. The producers clearly wanted to make The Grid look as real as possible. To me, that was a mistake.

If I may, I'd like to help you REALLY get this noticed. PM me if you're interested. This is AMAZIN!!!!! You should get together with that guy that did the Tron '82 trailer redone!!!!!!!!! Maybe you could work on the intro for TRON 3 which is being written (screenplay) RIGHT NOW by David DiGillio. DAMN GOOD WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!
