So, as you can see, my name is Stephanie. I'm a freshman in college and I've been through a lot in my life. I don't have scars on the outside - my scars are on the inside. My weapon of choice isn't a knife - it's pills, but it's a weapon all the same. I felt I needed to make this video to show that you can overcome obstacles in life and you never know what's going to happen when you get out of bed tomorrow.

I've never made a YouTube video before. I've always been afraid people would judge me on my looks, but when I saw the video by Jonah Mowry, I knew I had to respond.

All the other videos were about people who cut or people who had been called any number of names that have to do with sexual orientation, but, as we all know, bullying isn't just about sexual orientation. Bullying can be about anything. It can be how you dress, how you look, how you walk, how you act, how you sound, what sports you do or don't play, what hobbies you have.... The list is endless, but bullying is not.

No one realizes how serious of a problem bullying in school and even out of school is now thanks to twitter, Facebook, YouTube, texting... You can find negative comments about someone almost anywhere and most of the time the people who are saying the nasty things don't even know who the person is. We need to show that bullying is a bigger problem than most people think.

I am a big girl like you.. I want to play sports but I'm a ashamed to because of what people might say ... Nut somehow someone in my school took time out for me and all of a sudden half of my school know me not as the "Fat girl" but as the real cool big girl...and Godbless you

@ravit50 1) I'm at college, not at home. My classes are blocks away from my dorm. Tennis is my stress relief. I'm active.

2) It is easy to say I have medical conditions, because I do. PCOS, CFS and Anemia. Look 'em up.

3) I do eat right. Thanks though. Come live a day in my life and you'll see how I eat.

Hi!  My name is Stephanie as well :D It was truly awesome to see your video. I agree that bullying comes in so many different packages that sadly it can be easy for someone on the outside to miss. It is because of brave people like yourself who never gave up and others who stood strong against the lashing that continue to give me signs of hope. I am def passing your video on for others to see, and hopefully see the same that I did. Think When you have to, live the rest of the time :D
