  • Now THAT is bel canto! Of all the interpretations I've seen of this on youtube, I think this is the best! She has the exact right bel canto voice for this aria, her gesture is youthful and connected, and tender.

Best performance! Bellini would have been proud.

  • Oh my GOD! That note at 2:33 is just so celestial I want to cry! I love Rebecca Evans!

  • Qué belleza inenarrable, qué perfección!!!!

  • what a clear and rich tone. beautiful.i guess teacher was vera rosza.

  • Simply beautiful!

  • I am new to this hearing singer and I agree with commenters morhywaden and pearpixie3 - we have not heard enough of this singer (even in NYC where I am) and that top note @ 2.33 was a beauty.

  • It is a sad fact that this wonderful singer does not receive the wide public acclaim in the land of her birth, Wales. This must be down to media coverage which continues to promote the careers of others & overlook this national treasure.

  • WOW!!!!!!! the most amazing performance i've ever heard of this aria. everyone else should just give it up. everything about it was stupendous..., from each attack to how he effortlessly floated those high notes at the end. my seat is soaking wet. brava

  • Amazing. Totally sublime.

  • i've long had a soft spot for her- no airs and graces, she has a natural warmth and kindness about her, as well as a touching and sometimes meltingly beautiful voice, and yes of course, Katherine Jenkins may be much better paid but isn't in this league.

  • So musical and graceful. I loved every minute of it. Thank you so much for posting!
