Think building 7! You good Dr. are the one who is blind. Does the music invoke a patriotic theme? Yes or no? Are there pictures of a building being imploded into its footprint? Put the two cogs together and what do you get? A message of DO NOT QUESTION THE OFFICAL STORY! BE A GOOD AMERICAN AND SHUT UP. So my good Dr. who is the one with open eyes? The blind do not read between the lines. Not all is as it seems.
The ignorance of your statement is pretty blinding? "Buildings blowing up while the U.S.A. plays strong in the back ground." 1812 overture is built around a Russian chorale. Tchiakovsky wasn't writing God Bless the USA. It was commissioned in commemoration of Russia's stand against the French during the invasion of 1812.
Tchaik called for live cannonfire to accompany the piece during the premier, hence it's association with fireworks/explosions.
Point taken. Thank you for your thoughtful response. I'm not being sarcastic about that.lol But i still think it's strange. There is a clear message being underlined here. Do I really have to spell it out for you? I didn't think so.
I think I can explain it to you... if you listen to the beginning of this video, it is narrated by a former employee of the hospital which was imploded. It was well known that the employees of this hospital tried desperately to keep this hospital afloat. Not too far from the emotion for which Tchaikovsky wrote this music... (Russians defeat France)... it's about the emotions of the struggle. Now why did you have to be sarcastic about her piece in your text? Have you not felt passionate?
Can someone explain to me the reason for the patriotic theme music? What does a building imploding down into its footprint have to do with patriotism? Buildings blowing up while the U.S.A. plays strong in the back ground. Strange wouldn't you say? Just my opinion.

The 1812 overture is the music played at the end of Caddyshack when Carl Spackler (Bill Murray) blows up the entire golf course to kill the gopher.
