OSU was cocky and they paid for it they thought they were gonna Roll the Gators both times and then got owned both times.

@TheXxkakarotxx: Ginn only scored on that kickoff because Reggie Nelson was held on the play. And OSU still had the Heisman winner at QB and Gonzalez, Hartline, Pittman, Wells, etc. (I remember OSU fans telling me before the game that they had 3 or 4 WRs better than anyone on the Gators' squad--ha!) And yet they only produced 82 yards of offense, even though the entire second half was garbage time. Ginn couldn't do much when Smith was running (slowly) for his life on every play.

@TheXxkakarotxx: I've heard the layoff excuse many times before from OSU fans and it doesn't make sense. First of all, they only had one more week off than the Gators, that's not much. Second, they had an extra week to recover from injuries, while UF had to play a tough, physical game against Bama--that's an advantage. Third, OSU coaches had an extra week to prepare, put in trick plays, etc.

I wish Ginn hadn't gotten hurt (celebrating, lol), but he wouldn't have made much of a difference.

@mikewattdisciple yes thats what im saying...we had too much time off and that threw our players off and we planned to use ginn alot that game so when he was hurt, things went wrong...all im saying is that it should have been a much closer game
