This is a basic overview of my Jetglo Rickenbacker 330, the little brother, so to speak, of the Rickenbacker model 360. I am using a Fender Blues Junior amplifier for this demo. To find out more information about Rickenbacker guitars, please visit my friends at the Rickenbacker Resource website: www.rickresource.com or at Rickebacker International Corporation: www.rickenbacker.com, both excellant resources for these wonderful guitars.

  • whats the best rick to play you cant do that?

  • @PeterSteves Maybe the 350V63 Liverpool model, but I think a 330, or a 360 would work for that sound as well.

  • that is a beautiful guitar, do you rickenbackers go well with fender hot rod amps???

  • @invictorium Yes, in my opinion, they do. I use mine with a Fender Blues Jr., which is part of the Hot Rod series and it sounds good to me. With that series you can play clean, which I prefer with a Rickenbacker, or you can use the master volume to add overdrive, which I use occaisonally.

  • Great review.

I like the idea of a blend knob. I wired my strat for the same effect not really understanding what I was doing. I thought it was cool to have just a tad bit of flexibility on the tone. Though I will have to have it professionally wired now that I see that Ricks come standard with it.

  • thanks a million - very informative.
