How do you give your voice that awesome "Cross-Eyed Mary" sound? Ian's voice always changed over time, but in this one track in particular he sounds really different, more rough and raspy and hardcore. I love it. Did you use some vocal processor to get that sound? If so, what is it called - "Cross-Eyed Mary Voice Synthesizer"? You also nailed Ian's voice on your Thick As A Brick cover. How do you do it? Can you just naturally make your singing voice sound like anything depending the song?

Fan-bloody-tastic cover of one of my all-time-favorites. Sounds better than Tull's live performances... LOL Original still the best tho!... Great stuff!

Great cover Larry ! My favorite band in the 70s ! I saw the Aqualung tour.

@bry0416 Thank you, bry, and I enjoyed your Play In Time video response. This video is mostly just me messing around with multi-camera shots, but the audio track is some serious multi-track work. I wish my cousin Tim had been available to play the drums back when I did this...the drums on this track are dreadfully cheap electronic drums from a Korg DDD-5. :(

@stratocasterbob Thanks Bob. Yea, Tull more or less filled the void left by the breaking-up of the Beatles for me. I became equally as immersed in Tull music as I ever was in that of the Beatles, and Aqualung was my first Tull record. I saw them in 73 as well...A Passion Play Tour! Saw them the year before for the Thick As A Brick tour, which was my first live Tull experience. It left a lasting impression...I've seen them a total of 5 times live, the last being in 2003.

Wow --- I am an old fan of the "Aqualung" album, also. I use to listen to it over and over and over.. when I was young. There were so many GREAT songs on that album; I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favorite :)
Anyway... just wanted to say.. I'm really impressed at your work here. I can't even imagine anyone trying to imitate any Jethro Tull music (which is why I watched this [curiosity]).... You did an awesome job!!!!! Thanks for sharing your talent for others to enjoy!

@MsPreciousParrot Yea the Aqualung LP was my very first Tull purchase. I couldn't agree with you more about the content...there is not one song on that LP which I do not enjoy. Thank you very much for your kind words. I am thrilled that you enjoyed my video.

Enjoyed how you played all these different parts. I'm gonna see if I can go find you on Facebook.
I recommend removing the collectible dolls out of camera-eyeshot for the next video. Just a suggestion.

Thanks. My facebook account is more or less dormant because I only look at it once in a blue moon...LOL. I have since moved to a different location for making my vids...my honey got tired of me cluttering up the livingroom...and to quote her, "DON'T TOUCH MY DOLLS!" HAHAHA. Thanks for having a look. LC
