Nice Blonde Radar Operator / " Secretary " 1 / 2 : " The Man From U.N.C.L.E. " TV Show

Here we have the start of a nice scene from the 1st Season ( 1964-65 ) The Man From U.N.C.L.E. episode " The Mad Mad Tea Party Affair ". The scene is set in their secret / concealed U.N.C.L.E Headquarters New York radar room and features a pretty petite blonde radar operator / " secretary " ( a generic term used for all the female support staff regardless of their role ). It's a nice example of how whenever possible they would use pretty women in interesting roles. As you can see their defence radar has picked up some sort of suspicious flying object coming towards them. In case you don't / didn't know " U.N.C.L.E. " stands for " United Network Command for Law and Enforcement " - it's an international organisation made up of different personnel owing no allegiance to any one country; a sort of United nations security, intelligence and spy organisation. The two men in the scene are Robert Vaughn ( dark haired ) as " Napoleon Solo " and David McCallum as " Illyia Kuriakin " ( Russian ); their role is that of an " Enforcement Agent ". The tv show was inspired by the success of the James Bond films such as " Dr No ". Enjoy !
