Weather Channel Weather Update/Weatherstar 4000 LF during Storm Week-April 2, 2002

This is part of a videotape I found with episodes of Storm Week and Atmospheres from April 2002. I did not record this. I think my mom did. I also don't remember seeing some of those cities on the Latest Observations (they're all different now except Baltimore). I do remember when they used forecasts from NOAA, though.

The song sounds like a Pat Metheny tune. Does anyone know the name of it?
