I saw Elizabeth last night at Knuckleheads in Kansas city and man, is she entertaining. As funny as she is talented. I yelled this out as a request and she played a lovely version with guitarist Tim Carroll (a snazzy songwriter in his own right) and bassist Bones Hillman. How Midnight Oil's former bassist ended up playing with Elizabeth Cook is anybody's guess, but I just think it's cool. If you get the chance, do go see her live.

Would you say she was a "amateur pro" singer? I never heard of her before she was on Letterman a few days ago.

Produced by Rodney Crowell, who's worked with many greats, and was a member of Emmylou's backing band in the 70s. That should be country enough for anybody.

she has a natural gift and it is not put on also not overly perfect that is what make's her so good at singing her song's and her feet can move and she has a good little band ..

Awesome! Hey levvy....streamlined or talented? Her accent isn't faked and neither is her background, unless you count being raised by parents who performed in all manner of honky-tonks and dives, from cent.FL to Memphis.

will you marry me

I love to hear her talk (and she's not to hard to look at, either)!;)
She's as country as a red dirt road, and not a damned bit ashamed of it. So am I.
Go ahead on, girl!
