    I totally agree with you, However, I grew up just outside of Chicago and this is how the police acted. I'm just saying I that beating people bloody was a little over the top

    Although the police were very violent, and I am in not condoning their actions, it is important to take many circumstances into consideration. After MLK was assassinated riots broke out over Chicago, which caused hundreds of fires and injuries. After this, some complimented CPD's restraint, but mostly citizens and city officials of Chicago called for a greater use of force by the police. People knew the DNC would be violent and the police were told to do everything they could to protect Chicago.

    The police were horribly wrong. This is how it is in Chicago even today, they wear the badge cause they think the power it gives them means they can beat the shit out of anybody they want.. YOU ARNT ABOVE THE LAW!
