  • Yes, you are quite right, the hemp will go to a heat plant for combustion trials.

  • This video shows hemp being harvested on the 10th February 2007 by "Lund Energy Co", for use in a heating plant. In Sweden hemp is normally harvested after freezing, when the potassium content in the material is lower, which is better for the heating plant. In future we hope that it will be possible to separate the fibre for industrial purposes at the heating plant.
