That first debug unit, I would be mighty wary of it. When you turn it the reflection of the lid looks like it's simple paint. That, combined with the used video game place label on the bottom, makes it seem like a bootleg. A simple model number sticker replacement.

Wary of the first unit?
It has two stickers on it from a pretty well known game developer & publisher (BMG Interactive), I'm sure this was actual dev hardware they used.

I remember my friend's dad had this exact same unit. Thought he had the coolest PS cause of this.
