How to Change Your IP Address With Router

when i tried putting in the Mac address, my thing router restarted but the wireless wasnt working

@DeathTheKid24555 did u unplug ur router and modem? You have to do both.

@FilthyNinjaSTEP this may be because you changed the address on ur routers web based program, or ur router has a default adress thats different (this is the most common one), try googling your router for information or resetting it if u think its been changed

isn't the best way to change ur ip which mostly works is turning of everything and then turning them back on again?

seems to change my ip all the time

@yungstar49 do you have dsl? because i heard that power cycling your connection on dsl changes the ip address.
