This is how badass Metallica are. They wrote 2 songs and 1 demo using the same riff. All 3 are basically the same song. It's hard to choose which one is best. FUCK I love Metallica!

The Flamingo riff is the best of the three, I think. And this is coming from someone that was absolutely FLOORED by All Nightmare Long.

If you like the Shadows of the Cross riff the most, then you probably loved the craptacular Reload. If you think the Flamingo riff is best, then you probably masturbate to the mostly average-at-best St. Anger. If you think the All Nightmare Long riff is best, then you have taste. It truly is that simple.

Not surprising how one of the best demos of the Presidio/St. Anger Stuff turned out to be one of the best songs in Death Magnetic.
