Attempting to avoid vigil problems with Bakersfield Council

Tim Palmquist speaks to the Bakersfield City Council on September 9, 2009 about his concerns that the City will seek to interfere with the 40 Days for Life prayer vigil. Palmquist specifically mentions the crosses which are placed in front of the local abortion chamber every week which are memorials to the specific babies who died in the killing center that week. Defying their own sign ordinance, the City took action to confiscate the crosses on September 30, even though the crosses had been used throughout the three previous 40 Days for Life campaigns without problems.
