We got a new edition to the family. Rocky the Squirrel. Spent yesterday with him. My cat and dog can't wait to play with him. Nothing like having a rodent around the house.

one of the squirrels i fed in my garden had a leg that had swollen up to 3 times its usual size, so i caught it to take to vets when feeding it cashew nuts, big mistake, it sunk its teeth straight into my hand, had to shake my hand to get it off.

they are awesome buddies to have around if you chance to have/save one. Mine was 4 when he passed, he had birth defects that finally got to him. Miss him still.

First of all, it depends on what state the people are in , keeping the squirrel may very well be legal. Next I am a licensed wildlife rehabber and have raised over 100 squirrels and it look very healthy
