Disintegrating - Vampire Style

Just me having a go at the whole disintegrating vampire thing. Made in After Effects CS3 with Trapcode Particular.

Is trapcodes particular worth 300$? It seems so much, did you buy it or use the demo or what?

Hey cheers for the comments, I actually used Trapcodes Particular. Its a really great plug-in. I had something silly like 3 layers of 200000 particles a second and it still rendered out fairly quickly. Let me know if you want any more info on how to do it.

No Problem, Yea I really recommend it. Its a top plug-in, very versatile. Oh, and by the way, I did use Shatter on the window smash video though.

you could possible download particular demo, apply it to a solid, precompose the layer and then key out the red X
