  • Question: You say that there was "no way" to get from the Children's Room to the adult section. Um, there's a hallway and stairs that connect them. If you meant there's no handicap-accessible connection, that's true, but there is a way to get through there.

But wow, it's actually pretty depressing to see it all gutted like that. I spent like half my childhood in that Children's Room.

When's this all going to get finished? Somehow I've missed the estimated finish date.

  • If I recall correctly, it was in part an accessibility issue. Murray Goulde's estimates were accurate at the time. You'd have to check with the OPL to get a more up-to-date timeline, as I've moved to Syracuse.

  • Hey Murray! I was just cruisin' around on youtube and there you are! Excellent job on the video... you look great! Keep up the great job you're doing for the people of Oswego. I think you should run for mayor.

    Love, Marg (You're sister-in-law) :o)

  • Syracuse. Boo.

  • Beautiful building! I am very pleased that they are renovating. Awesome memories to carry on future generations. I am proud to see this come together.

  • Wait, hold on. You just said that it's going to be finished "next summer." But this was posted in June of '06. And it's June of '07 and that building doesn't look anywhere near finished. What's up?

  • Wow, it's been quite awhile since I've been to this building, using the pc's to chat with my wife, friends and family. Next time I visit Nu York I'll have to go there and see how different it looks now. Who-ever put this up,.. thanks!! - Zytaris of Quinn
