The crazy playing faces, awkward body movements. It was like the John of 2002 for a few good minutes there during the solo.

&laurenleialoha So around 4:25 did you head explode with joy! What I wanted to point out is how when he's soloing right there and making his "faces," he looks VERY much like the young JM he once was. Although he's in his mid-30s and is an established adult you can still see hints of the JM in the Any Given Thursday video; it's pretty crazy! Those faces during the solos are a time machine to who he once was.

Look at the bottom-right corner in the back around 3:10. That's the unsung hero of JM concerts: Rene Martinez (formerly SRV's guitar tech.) He tires over all of JM's gear making sure everything is tuned and sounds spot on for when JM sounds spot on. That man deserves a lot of respect; if you want an incredible example watch this:
