  • Great !

  • Some members of Moo Duk Kwan (tang soo do) left, while some stayed. Bickering over a common curriculum was most likely the culprit. So, these groups became Tae Kwon Do Moo Duk Kwan & Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan. Today, Tae Kwon Do, actually Korean martial arts in general, has fractured even further & there are many organizations under many different names all with similarities & differences. In conclusion, is tae kwon do & tang soo do the same art? The answer can be both yes & no.

  • The name tae kwon do was coined in the late 1950's by the Korean government in order to unify the existing kwans (schools) of striking arts under one common national banner. Differing names such as tang soo do, kong soo do, soobakki & kwon bup were used which lead to much confusion. Some of these names referred to countries other than Korea but at this time Korea was seeking to strengthen its national identity. So, a Korean name was chosen & a national organization was established( KTA).

  • Yep bad technique on all counts, my old teacher would a crucified me for punching like that, and he looked like Chuck Norris.lol. Over extension of the shoulder, half arsed punches, poor stance etc....

  • First off Taekwondo and tang soo do are two different martial arts. Although both come from korea tang soo do is the korean variant of japanese Karate it incorporates Both taekwondo techniques and also japanese karate tang soo do has its own federation aswell they are in no way the same style as tae kwon do. I am a practitioner of tang soo do for about 4 years and i can assure you all that tang soo do and tae kwon do 2 different martial arts.

  • spend your money in another thing...not in that shit...

  • his punches a wrong. idk about other martial arts but in karate you aren't supposed to duck arm ( elbow comes out) you are supposed to punch straight to get more power.

  • maybe if you didn't spend half the video introducing what you was going to do, this would of been ok...

    2*

  • nigga dun need martial arts. nigga only need drugs and gunz. gansta style
