Things girls like to hear: Imagine me with a giant squid head.

@calvinwongchirish me too!
It would be so funny as an episode to have Sheldon's mum to introduce Sheldon to the guy who tested him when he was a child - he could be a member of her church or something and have renounced science and his work for Jesus! The comedy could be around Sheldon thinking "whose crazy out the two of us - not me!!" LOL

@mattsuzo very true. it kind of sucks that they cant just say "aspergers" when everyone asks "whats wrong with him"... it wouldnt be the show that we know and love.
I'd also like to see the credentials for the psychiatrist/pathologist who tested Sheldon for "crazy" XD

She was like "Shut your trap"

@DrOnline82 They don't use a laugh track. It's proven by watching their outtakes and blooper reels. Seriously. Watch some on YouTube. You can see the actors reacting to the audience and hear the laughter. It sounds laugh tracky, because that's what laughter sounds like, duh. I dunno. I'm not trying to change your mind but saying that they rely on laugh tracks isn't true. The writers of this show produce the best dialogue in any comedy on television (except maybe Modern Family). Yay for Big Bang!

Admiral Ackbar obviously has a goldfish head, not a squid head.

Call me what you will, hater, dumbass, unintelligent. But, you can't please everybody. The show was okay in my opinion, but the show is more focused on pop culture references than actual "nerd comedy". Haven't watched an episode in ages, don't plan to.
The comedy to those that don't watch the show is that Sheldon is very bright yet un diagnosed high functioning autistic adult.
Penny was using mimicry in a bitchy way to slag off the other girl in the apartment. Sheldon (because of his nature) missed this completely and saw it as a type of talking point (mimicry)
So he shares the one he has been working on (Adimral Ackbar from Star Wars). It is a comedy with brains and heart and very well written.
