Walk On By (1989)
An excellent vocalist and one of the finest among disco divas, New Jersey singer Sybil has come close to pop stardom but has not yet attained it. She worked with Ce Ce Rogers in Ce Ce & Company before signing with Next Plateau. Though her songs have been well received by club audiences, R&B fans have been slower to warm to her cool but expertly sung numbers. She got the best general response to her remake of "Don't Make Me Over" in 1989. Her other songs didn't reach the R&B Top 40. Sybil signed with the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team in 1990, and the single "Make It Easy on Me" was issued shortly afterward. In 1993, she released Doin' It Now for Next Plateau.

Wow this lady has a awesome voice now she took this song walk on by and made it her own dionne i am sorry i am not a fan of yours when i heard you sing it it did not move me at all when i heard this woman sybil sing this song for the first time it perced my heart and i was blown away i could not stop listening to this song i played it over and over and over and i am still playing it what can i say sybil has a voice of an angel i can hear her sing all day and night
