The Gourmale, aka Dan Crane, demonstrates how (not) to cook a pig's trotter (aka, pig's foot). This pig's trotter was from a Berkshire Pig, sourced from McCall's Meat & Fish in Los Angeles

  • Your videos are great! I prepare Trotters every New Years. Another easy recipe: Add to taste, apple cider vinegar, garlic, onions, hot pepper & salt, boil for 2 1/2 hours or until the trotters are tender, the meat falling off the bones. Finish off in the oven with your favorite barbeque sauce. Pig Feet are a lucky food for the New Year, the concept being that the pig roots the ground pushing forward thus symbolizing progress. Can't wait for your next video. God Bless!

  • Well, Dan, I gotta say you gotta a lotta nerve! Though it was gross looking in the middle of the show, it actually came out looking alright at the end... as well as a pig's foot can look after all. Did anyone notice how huge that foot was? On steroids or somethin'.
