I don't believe in heaven or some fantasy world called the afterlife. That doesn't mean I don't love this song. Some of the most beautiful art ever created is "religious" or "spiritual" art.

I'm pretty sure what the song means by the 'other side' is like "The Afterlife/Heaven" b/c if you pay attention, the song is practically a love song, so itd make sense right? :)
