From a series of brief interviews and off-stage shots from the Second International Body Music Festival, six days of Contemporary and Traditional Body Music presented in Concerts, Workshops, Teacher Trainings, Lecture/Demonstration, Body Music Open-Mic, Family Matinee, and in-school Assembly Programs in the San Francisco Bay Area Dec 1-6, 2009. Artists from Spain, Peru, Brazil, France, North Africa, Syria, Turkey, Polynesia, New York and San Francisco/Oakland.

Founded by Artistic Director Keith Terry, the International Body Music Festival is a project of Crosspulse, an Oakland-based non-profit arts organization dedicated to the performance, recording and education of cross-cultural rhythmic arts. The 2010 Festival is being produced by Sao Paolo-based body music ensemble Barbatuques, led by Artistic Director Fernando Barba
