I prefer to talk about people I've met rather than people I'm unfamiliar with, so I can't give you examples of people who started FG with aids or cancer.

Falun gong is a cultivation practice that was first spread publicly in China in 1992 and has spread to more than 100 countries.

Falun Gong is very good for your physical and mental health. I and 3 other FG practitioners who live within 120 km of me have made a full or partial recovery from disabilities we had. One guy had sore teeth and his teeth are fine now. That's among about 15 FG practitioners I know who live within 120 km of me.

As far as I'm aware there weren't any serfs in Tibet before the Invasion of Tibet began in 1949-50.
