  • This Song exits with Czech lyrics too, good video, Tribute for every brave Soldiers, who fought for Freedom, against Japanese Nacionalism, German and Italian Fascism; Sorry for my poor English.

  • Flattilre, every soldier and vet matters, the reason this is about Ira is because Ira felt that he did not deserve the fame he reaped and that the ones you mentioned did, he had a tremendous amount of guilt, integrity and a lot of humility but people constantly intruded on his personal life making him a tourist attraction and not recognizing his actions but the fact that he was "an indian soldier." Ballads are just songs, remembering is from the heart, we can remember those fallen without song.

  • @johnkiedis27 fuck yeah

  • @Jorjoh1 I won't 'spam' the comment or thumb it down at all; I can agree to a lot of what you said! This song is so haunting!

  • They are making new "Ira Haye's" everyday...Look at the men who killed Osama.

  • white man can go to hell

  • Has anyone seen Flags Of Our Fathers? He dies of sun exposure in Mexico after telling Hank's father that Hank wasn't the fourth guy to raise the flag.

  • great video thanks for the post.

  • The American Indians were shit on by our Goverment from day one!, still are!! Now every working persons time is at hand. It is just a matter of time, before they take away everything we fought for to make this country what it is.

  • @Jorjoh1 I'm 64 myself and I seem to remember every generation has always said that about the younger generation but someway we always manage to struggle through and we even manage to have a war every generation even though the younger generation is always weak and spoiled. We haven't even had a draft since Vietnam and we still manage to have wars. Nothing ever changes. The more things change the more they remain the same.
