Graphics does not make a great game.
The year is 2011, 25 years after MM1 and 13 years after MM6, and Might & Magic still kicks the living snot out of Dragon Age.

Actually, the city is not named Harmondale City as RPGenie wrote in the title, it's actually named WelNin - hence WelNin Cathedral. Harmondale is only the name of the land and your castle.

Well, that's NWC's style. They develop a new engine and uses it for 2-3 games: MM2 used MM1 engine, MM4 and MM5 used the MM3 engine, MM7 and MM8 used the MM6 engine and... They went bankrupt after MM9, although probably MM10 and MM11 would also use the same engine :)

I get that and all, but still. With 3 games of this type, all exactly the same graphically, you'd think they could have pitched in and used the budjet for all of them to make them practically state-of-the-art for their time. Just seems unfortunate, because they stretched their resources so thin and could have made one amazing game rather than 3 pretty decent ones.

Remember that this game was made back in 99. Those videos are pretty awesome, it shows that everything was really rendered and that's the best graphics at that time!

Why isn't the rest of the game that good looking? They clearly could have done it with just a few thousand dollars more.

Am I the only one hear weird audio glitches? It garbles things up during the Perception skill description, and some of the other videos prior to this had desynch with the video.

The irony of your cleric, is that your Dwarf, a race that is normally gruff, reserved, and dour...is your highly charismatic one...the hilarity is delicious!
