Interview with Charles Anchang

I met Charles at the African Goodwill Awards in Los Angeles. The Immigrant magazine was one of the major sponsors of the event.The awards ceremony celebrated the dedication committment and achievement of African and African American individuals. Some of the awardees were Monique Hicks, Stephanie Okereke, Isaiah Washingto and, Chaka Kahn.

The Immigrant Magazine Inc, is a multi-media corporation that specializes in the development and distribution of media that focuses on the United States growing and ever-changing ethnic population. The organization aspires to become the voice of the American immigrant by providing this audience with publications that will enhance their experience in America and forums to address their unique concerns and interests. The Immigrant Magazine, Inc. aspires to be the voice of the American immigrant capturing their lifestyles and celebrating their heritage.

It sees itself as a medium that will increase understanding, encourage tolerance, provoke thought, promote discussion, create opportunity, and ultimately help provide an improved appreciation of America's rich ethnic heritage.The mission is to foster greater awareness of the contributions made by the immigrant community and help ensure that the immigrant population receives the recognition it deserves in American media.
