i need help fast theres a one day sale on Corsair XMS2 DHX and i was wondering as long as my mother board say it uses ddr2 dual channel 800mhz its fully compatible with my motherboard no matter of cas latency and any thing else ?????

No not necessarily. Many of the older boards that have a max front side bus of 800, such as some of the Intel media boards will only support 800mhz memory with the lower timings, usually 5-5-5-18 at the lowest. If you buy the memory modules with latencies lower than that, in most cases it will just up the timings to something that it will support, but in some cases, it just wont boot. What motherboard are you using?
