911 - A day that will live in infamy...

I put this video about 48 hours after the attacks of September 11, 2001. Like most that day, we had different feelings and emotions, and I thought this was the best way to show respect and to show we cared. This video is done so people will remember and examine the fact that only in such times does the world act in one voice. It's time we all realized how interconnected we all are.

I'd like to quote a Muslim American which was interviewed on CNN. This gentleman I think described it best, he said "... these terrorist didn't kill americans as they said. If you think about it, what is an american ? He is a muslim, a jew, a christian and any other religion and background from hundreds of places from around the world. This was not an attack on the United States, but an attack on humanity". If more people would only see it this way, we would all be better off.

This short memorial video is dedicated to all those who lost their lives on that day, to the front line workers of the emergency services on-site and to the many well wishers around the world.

@SeveringAnthony I appreciate that, and while I can understand being patriotic, just remember that there were people from every religion and race that died on 911. While the attack was on the continental USA, it was in reality an attack on every religion and race on the planet. Every religion and race was represented among the dead. So I appreciate your reply, and thanks for opening your mind.

While no one would argue what happened on September 11, 2001 wasn't a tragedy, I think more people would agree with "A day that will live in infamy" on 9/12/01 than a decade later. In 2011, people who have been paying attention may settle for "A day that will live just outside the limits of credulity". But yes, something happened that day and the loss of life makes it tragic.

@PoserPark2 these wars along with every other war are about resources/money and land. period. religion is the scapegoat. its used to sell the war to the ignorant masses on both sides. the leaders of the nations meet in cozy rooms together, while the thin the herd a little with a war. also get rid of some of the surplus weapons, so can build more. i served in iraq, we were opening con-ex boxes fill with brand new, 60 year old equipment. like i said, getting rid of some surplus.
