@franjayo wow ive gotta promote Li-Ning for my marketing class and your quote "In chinese culture emulating the good in the existing and making it better is looked at favorably, not negatively as the occidentals would consider copying." is a core product and cultural truth we'll probably use for in our IMC mix thanks ^^

@BasketballStud99 i was thinking about getting them but i don't wanna get clowned on varsity ha!
-
id be embarrassed wearing their stuff

They will eventually figure out that their name should be LI, not Li-Ning.
The Li name justifies the Nike like logo, even more as just Li. Just Li is also better to market and remember, similar to Wii.
In chinese culture emulating the good in the existing and making it better is looked at favorably, not negatively as the occidentals would consider copying. If you go to the core of everything, we all copy from those that created before. Real creation is what you add to the mix.

The symbol is a reinterpetation o the Nike symbol. Bad, bad.

Li ning is such an awesome brand, I have so much Li ning clothing
Li Ning should concentrate on sponsoring a specific sport, just like Addidas sponsoring Football several decades ago.

I got a pair of Li Ning sneakers when I was traveling in China last year. I love my Li Ning sneakers, they are very comfortable and stylish. I think they are better than that of Nike, Adidas, Reebok, etc. I wish that I get Li Ning sneakers here in the USA.
