Maqtal of Imam al-Husayn [a] - Sheikh Hamza Sodagar | Day of Ashura - Muharram 1432

The AhlulBayt Islamic Mission (AIM) and the Islamic Centre of England have organised a series of 13 nights of Majalis in the English language for this upcoming Muharram 2010 with Sheikh Hamza Sodagar which is titled as 'The Eternal Legacy'.

This the maqtal of Aba Abdillah al-Husayn [a] recited by Sheikh Hamza Sodagar on the day of Ashura. Ashura is the 10th of Muharram when the grandson of the Prophet [p], al-Husayn [a] was brutally slaughtered on the plains of Karbala along with his companions by the forces of Yazeed [la]. After the martyrdom of al-Husayn [a], the tyrant forces attacked the women and the children and set fire to the camps.
