Normally I don't cry.
It took all I had to hold back the floodgates as this melody enveloped me.
Still, though, a single tear found purchase. Distant memories flooded my being, and I watched through my mind's-eye as my dearly departed jovially conversed beneath a rosary of heavenly light.
They joked and laughed, danced and sang... They lived.
A familiar feeling caressed me in that moment, one that I'd been searching for all my life: I felt at home.

This song is amazing. I want it to be played at my funeral. I just heard it today and I thought it was beautiful, but I really realized how deep it was in the last part when Dave sang about being around the people you love. I love some dead people, some living people. Home is where you can love and see both. To me, home will be heaven when God decides it's my time.
