Lindsey is right that it is often a rich man's game - so why bother risking 20k on this? Is it worth it? Better to concentrate on local council elections, where it costs nothing to stand. Get some support at the grassroots before bothering with elections like this. Did RESPECT retain it's deposit last time? At 3.2% of the 1st pereference votes, I'm guessing not. Still I'll be giving you my 1st perference vote and best of luck.

How have you come to the conclusion anti-racists support xenophobia in right-wing tabloids? I think we have an undue distrust of foreigners and a tendency to scapegoat one group or another (both whipped up by the press) but relatively speaking, Britain is one of the least racist countries around. Jean Marie-Le Pen got nearly 4m/5m votes in France in 2002/2007. And similar results have been recorded across Europe. Meanwhile the BNP have just a tiny number of councilors here.

All this anti Racist stuff is just hypocrasy.They don't care if they're racist to Germans or Argentinians or anyone else who they were in wars with but who beat them in football.Think back to the tabloids of Euro 96.Even anti racists think its acceptable to be racist to these people. I'm dual nationality and because of these attitudes I've left Britain. You can only take so much.People will think what they want and thats their right.Politics is not able to change this.

Politics is so much fun. If you can be bought you have a chance if not, you get squashed. Ever wonder how many hundred times you've seen a new face talk fresh, to the point and then either fade away or change into a fucking asshole. Politicians don't want to change anything. It's a stupid show that is old and boring.
