Fiat At Ortrega 1.MP4

Wind was blowing over 50 MPH up on Ortega in the off road mountains today. Wanted to try the little Fiat in the rough so off we went! This car is simply AMAZING on & off road in the flats, mountains OR twisties. ALL the places I raced (uh rode) motorcycles for the past 50 years are places this car truly DOES hold it's own. If pushed ultra hard in very high speed turns it will lift it's outside front wheel off the ground & run on 3 legs. makes for AMAZING fun!!!!! Now myself? I would never do anything like that of course.....

This car is easily able to replace motorcycling for me. Much to my surprise. And the fuel economy is FAR better than advertised so that is yet another very pleasant surprise. Buying such an expensive little car was an extremely nerve wracking thing for me to do. UNTIL putting it through it's paces and discovering all this little Cabrio can do. And my worry about the rag top not proving as open of experience as I needed to get off motorcycles was unfounded. This is a car that DEMANDS your attention to drive and rewards you with adrenalin rushes as you push it around any fun back road. I finally found the car I have been waiting for. Only took me 63 years...Thanks goodness my best car memories were of my Dan & me travelling around in our 1962 Fiat 500 when I was a kid. Otherwise I never would have given this a 2nd look given it's high price tag THESE days!
