Roketa 150cc Scooter with a chambered muffler that I made. I know it's ugly, but sounds good for an otherwise stock GY6.

  • is the GY6 a reliable scooter?

  • They can be. It helps if you know how to adjust the valves yourself, do regular oil changes, etc... or at least have a decent mechanic.

  • Is that scooter 50cc?? Oh, i just love those sounds. What is inside of that amazing muffler?

  • It is a 150cc. It is a chambered muffler (no packing, just steel plates welded to direct exhaust flow).

  • Dude, I have a Roketa 150 also, where did you get your custom bondy panels and what else have you done to the bike?

  • those are stock roketa cayman 150 body panels. only other mods are an iridium plug and k&n filter. neither were installed at the time of the video.

  • sick ass exaust

  • looks like heck, but sounds great - work on a better look and I definitely would like to see the redo.

  • how did u make that muffler i so damn would like same muffler to my scooter

  • very reliable i have one that im putting a 170cc cylinder and big valve head so far its covers 5067 miles and its been really efficient and very very very reliable always starts first time and is also very smooth to ride do you live in the uk by anychance?

  • hahaha sounds great its not that ugly but it does look like it belongs on a car

  • Love that sound, but I think a dual exhaust with connected ends, would sound better. (You still need some back-pressure, or the engine will fail. Your piston walls will shred from the edge of the piston. The back-pressure creates pressure to hold the piston off the walls, as it escapes through the rings.)

Connect two exhausts. Engine direct into lower, with a T going to the other muffler. Exit out the top muffler, with a restricted T connecting the lower muffler. Makes a big "O".

  • I put a bigger cilinder, different head with bigger valves, and a hot cam on mine. I lightened the roller weights and put in stiffer clutch springs.

It really goes now. The limiting factor now is the stock exhaust. It chokes the engine.

I guess I'm going to have to make my own too, but I'm going to make a tube style muffler with packing though.

  • Yeah!!!
